CELLULAR DAS COMMISSIONING
System Greenlight
Performance Wireless verifies that the Distributed Antenna System (DAS) is free of alarms and that all active components are installed and operating in accordance with the system design. Performance Wireless also verifiesthat all active components are properly labeled and match the system design and update the system firmware as needed.
CELLULAR DAS COMMISSIONING
Baseline Noise Floor Measurements
For each supported frequency band, Performance Wireless measures the UL Noise Floor at the DAS point of interface (POI). Performance Wireless validates that no remote amplifiers or other components are introducing excessive noise to the system.
CONTINUOUS WAVE (CW) TESTING
Downlink measurements
Performance Wireless measures the RF signal over the air at each antenna location to ensure remote amplifiers are transmitting at levels consistent with the system design and are within the remote specifications for all supported bands.
Uplink measurements
Performance Wireless transmits a CW tone using a portable transmitter at designated antenna locations for each remote unit. Performance Wireless also measures the RF signal at the DAS point of interface (POI) to ensure RF levels are in accordance with the design and are within the remote specifications for all supported bands.

Commissioning Workbook
Performance Wireless documents all collected data from Commissioning into a workbook format, demonstrating the DAS is ready for Carrier Integration.
CARRIER INTEGRATION
Signal Integration
Performance Wireless provides signal integration for all supported and designed bands, integrate live carrier signal into the DAS in accordance with the system design. Performance Wireless also validates PCIs at the Head End and at the coverage antennas.
CARRIER INTEGRATION
System Optimization
Performance Wireless optimizes uplink (UL) levels by adding or removing attenuation for each zone or sector, specific to each band and technology. Performance Wireless also determines if any PIM (Passive Intermodulation) is present on any zone/sector for each supported band.
Commissioning Workbook
Performance Wireless documents all collected data from Carrier Integration into a workbook format.

DAS PIM MITIGATION & TROUBLESHOOTING
DAS PIM Mitigation
Tracing internal active and passive noise or PIM. Tracing external interference received by the DAS antennas.
Troubleshooting
Performance Wireless identifies defective equipment, trace faulty DAS active and passive components, and also trace faulty GPS active and passive components.
SITE SURVEY & COVERAGE ASSESSMENT
Performance Wireless performs on-site wireless assessments to evaluate coverage conditions, identify connectivity challenges, and provide recommendations for DAS or coverage enhancement solutions.
